Dig It - 7/16/26
Well Fellow Seekers, I have bought and sold a lot of antique Plains Indian dolls over the years, and this is one of the best I've ever had. I am going to say he is from the Central Plains, so perhaps Cheyenne, Arapaho, or maybe Lakota. I will wait to hear what Rhonda thinks. This guy has his shield, and there is a tobacco bag tucked into his belt. These types of accoutrements are almost always lost or missing. In fact, in over 40 years dealing with dolls, I think I have only had 2 or 3 others with shields. This doll is for sale, and you can catch us both at the Whitehawk show happening in a couple of weeks. Be there or be square, Seekers. Lonesome
