Dig it - 7/13/26
Hey there Fellow Seekers. This pin goes back a ways. I bought it around 1990 from an old friend, Mark Arrowsmith, scion of the illustrious Arrowsmith trading family. I'm not sure if it is Navajo or Pueblo, but the Arrowsmiths had lots of connections with the Pueblos. The pin is large, 3.5” wide, and dates to the early 20th century. The wires are all drawn through a plate, known as "hand-drawn wire." You can see how uneven they are. I kept it for a long time and never wanted to sell it. Alas, the Wolf was at the door, and so it went. Recently I was looking at another dealer's ad, and there it was. I said, “Come on home, baby!” and here it is. I don’t know if I’m going to sell it again, but I wanted to share it with you, Fellow Seekers. All the best and see you in the past! -Lonesome
