Dig It - 2/16/26

Well Fellow Seekers, rings are often considered to be magical, and this one certainly is. It has a four-split shank, four green Cerrillos stones, and an old blue turquoise ear bob or necklace tab in the center. It certainly dates to the early 20th century. 

Its magic is in its beauty, for it is surely awe-inspiring. It is one of the very best rings I have had, and I have had a few. One of my first ads in Indian Arts Magazine was a swoosh of rings, maybe twenty or thirty. It made quite a splash back then, and I remember clients calling and asking what the price was of the ring on the top row, 3rd from the left, and so on and so forth. It was a lot of fun, but I think it revived an interest in rings, and I was never able to put a big collection of good-to-great rings together again. Ah, memories.
