Dig It - 4/7/25

Hey Fellow Seekers, dig this! Today, we are going to look at a great doll. When I first saw her, I thought she might have been made by one of the Northern Plains or Plateau tribes because of her neck pouch. The aforementioned tribes used to wear these neck pouches to carry mirrors or ration cards etc. But this female doll appears to be wearing Central Plains style dress, leggings and moccasins. She is about 15” tall with no restoration that I can see. I love her face paint, which should be vermillion, or mercury sulfide. Can you imagine putting mercury on your skin? The strange things that humans do for fashion. Anyway Seekers, she is great and available for purchase. Stay happy, stay safe. -Lonesome
