Dig It - 9/19/24

Fellow Seekers! Kenny Rogers once said in The Gambler, “You got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when to walk away. know when to run. You never count your money when you're sitting at the table, there'll be time enough for counting when the dealings done.”

Well, Fellow Seekers this shirt was certainly made for a gambler. The beaded strips have all the suits of cards; hands that may represent the Odd Fellows; and an eagle or thunderbird - the ultimate symbol of warrior prowess. Do the hair pendants represent scalps taken at the Poker table? Perhaps the ermine pendants equal wealth won at Black Jack? Now, I know this here shirt belongs in an Indian Casino! So if any of you Seekers know of any casinos looking for a spectacular piece for the entry way, I’ll cut you in for a piece of the profits. Lonesome has left the building...
