Well Fellow Seekers, I’m kind of astounded by this bag. I’ve been watching a documentary about new excavations and discoveries at the Roman ruin of Pompeii, Italy. The birds on a perch and blooming flowers are very reminiscent of stucco murals found on the walls of Pompeii. This “Flat Bag” is contour beaded and probably dates from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. There is something so orderly and balanced about the design of the bag, something very special. If you like it and think, "yes, you have good taste." You are right, because this came out of the de Menil collection. That concludes our adventure for today. Yippie tie one on! -Lonesome.
