Dig It - 11/28/24
The old “Pile O Jewelry” shot, this one has some bangles in it. Well Fellow Seekers, I love bangles and have worn one every day for 30 years or more. I love the sound they make if you have two or more, that soft tinkle-clink sound is so reassuring and Zen. The bangle on the far left is one of a handful of 19th century bangles I’ve been lucky to own. The bangle second in from the left with the stones and silver wire volutes, I still have and is available. I have been told from several sources that this style with wire elements was made at Isleta Pueblo and dates to the turn of the century, though I have never found real solid confirmation of this. It is just under 6” inside terminal to terminal with a 1” gap. I’ve got it and you can get it, and that’s my story.
