Dig It - 3/23/23
Hello Fellow Seekers! This was and is my Ketoh. I purchased it in the summer of 1969 at the Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild, in Window Rock, Arizona. I had seen the older, more traditional Navajo men wearing Ketohs at a Squaw Dance I had been invited to attend, and I thought, "Now that is the coolest thing I have ever seen." I found this one at the Guild and bought it. I wore it for many a year and I got to say it was pretty hot and uncomfortable at times, but I thought I was beyond Hip! Unfortunately, I was not. Oh well, life is like that sometimes - illusional and delusional. I do have to say it has a pretty good patina. Happy Trails from the Lonesome Prospector.
