Hey Fellow Seekers, over the years I have had a few bracelets that were made at the Trading Post in the Garden Of The Gods outside for Colorado Springs. They have always been of high quality silversmithing and turquoise stones. This one is no exception.
During the summer the post would employ Navajo silversmiths to demonstrate the making of silver and turquoise jewelry. Most of these bracelets are stamped “Garden Of The Gods” and were made in between the 1920s and the 1950s, maybe later. My guess is that this one dates from the late 1920s to the 1930s. I really like the smith’s choice of stones and how the minimal settings show them off. This bracelet is for sale so give me a call. -Lonesome
