Now that’s a Cuff, fellow seekers. A great Cuff indeed. You just don’t see great early Navajo silver that often, and when you do, you have to consider yourself lucky. This bracelet is just under 2” across, which is why I call it a cuff. Cuffs are wide, though I see the term used for bracelets as thin as bangles. This cuff probably dates between the late 1890s and the 1920s; my best guess is 1900 to 1920. The rayed, repoussed medallions were done with a cold chisel, and the mounts for the Cerrillos turquoise stones are thick and handmade, both early traits. There are also very few different stamps used, though there are arrows and a storm pattern design on the sides. Lots of honest wear, which is always a good sign. It really is a beauty, Seekers. I will be very sad when it sells. -Lonesome
