Dig It - 12/25/25

Merry Christmas, Fellow Seekers! Don we now our gay apparel! Well, I hope Santa (or whatever elf you believe in) was good to you and you are preparing for a Yuletide Feast. 

This shirt was probably made by one of the Blackfeet Confederacy from Montana and Canada. It dates to the late 19th century—late but great! This beadworker's skill is amazing; her color choices, bold designs, and layout are just phenomenal! When I first saw this shirt, my jaw dropped, and maybe it was the “old Red Eye,” but Lonesome started to drool. I swear it is true; just a second while I clean myself up. That’s got it. Now, where were we? Oh yeah, this here shirt, it really is an eyeful. Can you imagine someone wearing this? Talk about a Fancy Dresser! Well Fellow Seekers, this shirt hangs on my wall, and every day I look at it, I’m happy. As Tiny Tim said, “God bless us all, everyone.” Wishing you the best in the New Year. Lonesome.
